Delegates from Chosun University College of Medicine paid an official visit to the Faculty of Medicine (FK) at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) on Thursday, 9 April 2026. The visiting delegation featured Dean Young Joon Ahn, MD, PhD, and Vice Dean Chi Young Park, MD, PhD, accompanied by their specialized team from Chosun University.
The group was warmly received by Prof. Dr. dr. Haerani Rasyid, Dean of FK. Following the primary agenda, the delegates were given a comprehensive tour of the faculty’s educational facilities, guided by Prof. Dr. dr. Rina Masadah and dr. Munawir. The visit extended to the UNHAS Teaching Hospital, where the delegation observed the clinical education systems and healthcare services integrated within the Unhas ecosystem.
This visit serves as a formal follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions last year. The discussions focused heavily on the immediate implementation of collaborative programs, specifically a student exchange initiative slated for later this year, which will see medical students from Chosun University participating in clinical rotations or academic programs at Unhas.
Ultimately, this engagement is expected to solidify the partnership between the two universities. By fostering closer ties, both institutions aim to unlock sustainable opportunities for future collaboration in the vital fields of medical education, advanced research, and global healthcare development.
