The International Office (IO) of Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) convened a strategic Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, to initiate the design of the university’s new Profile Booklet. Held at the UNHAS Secretary’s meeting room, the session aimed to collect, validate, and compile comprehensive institutional data to ensure all promotional materials are both accurate and of a global standard. This initiative serves as a key pillar in strengthening UNHAS’s internationalisation efforts by aligning institutional information with international ranking indicators.

The meeting was observed by the Secretary of the University, Prof. Sumbangan Baja, Ph.D., and featured a detailed overview of the essential metrics and narratives required for the publication. Andi Masyitha Irwan, Ph.D., Head of IO, emphasised that the booklet is intended to be a crucial resource for UNHAS’s diverse network of partners, both within Indonesia and across the globe. By providing a representative and professional image of the university, the booklet seeks to enhance UNHAS’s visibility on the world stage.

To ensure the project’s success, Project Manager Hanek Khoirunnissa, M.Sc., conducted a deep dive into the specific data requirements, assigning responsibilities to various stakeholders to finalise the content. The FGD concluded at midday, with all participants tasked with a swift turnaround to submit their assigned compositions just one day after the meeting. This collaborative effort reflects the university’s commitment to maintaining up-to-date and high-quality information for its international audience.
