On Thursday, 2 April 2026, Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), through the Directorate of Partnership, officially welcomed a high-level delegation from Polytechnic Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS), Malaysia. The meeting took place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vice Rector IV Meeting Room and was led by the Director of Partnership, Ansariadi, Ph.D. The UNHAS leadership presence was robust, including Prof. Restu (Dean of Vocational Studies), Prof. Ida Leida, Prof. Zainal, and other key figures from the International Office and the Sub-Directorate of Partnership.
The visiting delegation from POLISAS consisted of 11 representatives, headed by Tn. Mohd Safarim. The session served as a formal introductory platform where both institutions presented their respective team members and explored various avenues for future collaboration. The discussions highlighted a mutual interest in strengthening academic ties and vocational training, reflecting the shared commitment of both universities to fostering international educational standards and student exchange opportunities.
To mark the budding partnership, the meeting concluded with a ceremonial exchange of tokens between Mr. Ansariadi and Mr. Safarim, symbolizing a strong and growing connection between UNHAS and POLISAS. Following the formal ceremony, the POLISAS team proceeded to the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering for further engagement. This visit signifies a proactive step for UNHAS in expanding its regional network and enhancing its vocational and engineering programs through international synergy.
